The Sarcoma Research group is hosted at the Oncobell program at IDIBELL, a well-equipped and well-funded institute. Their main research lines are: (i) understanding the biological role of caveolin-1 in sarcomas, (ii) the identification of new therapeutic targets and preclinical evaluation of new compounds for the treatment of sarcomas, and (iii) the identification of new prognostic markers of sarcomas. The group benefits from a dynamic environment, high end institutional facilities (cellular imaging, proteomics, electron microscopy, etc) and strong collaborations that include three Spanish Children’s Hospitals.
