The possibility of doing secondments in partner labs and collaborate with other members of the network is probably what Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) we appreciate the most of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Innovative Training Network (ITN) fellowships. Thus, we are glad to inform that, with the new year 2019, time for networking has finally started for META-CAN.
META-CAN has participated in this European event with the activity entitled: WHO is WHO in European Science? / QUI és QUI en la Recerca a Europa? Developed in the ImaginCafè (Barcelona) on Friday 28th of September 2018 (20 - 22:00h).
Jonatan Fernández García (Gijón, 1991) has an impressive curriculum. He studied Biology in Oviedo, worked at the Cancer Research Center at Salamanca (CSIC) while doing a master's degree in advanced analysis of multivariate data and 'big data'.
On this day in 1903, Marie Skłodowska-Curie defended her doctoral thesis on radioactive substances at Université de la Sorbonne in Paris, thus becoming the first woman in France to receive a doctoral degree.
